Call for a tee time
Among one of the jewels in northern Michigan golf is The Dream Golf Course. The Dream is literally carved out of 312 acres of hardwoods to form one the most spectacular courses in Michigan. The course is located along Old 76 just three miles west of downtown West Branch.
The Dream, a mandatory cart and soft spike golf course, designed by Jeff Gorney, is completely tree-lined, with elevation changes of up to 100 feet. Featuring 7,000 yards of golf from the longest tees, this par-72 course is a scenic and challenging course.
Love the course and the staff . We were visiting from Florida and set the tee time too early for our arrival. They accommodated us even though we were an hour and a half early.
Each year friends and I schedule golf trips to different Michigan destinations…except our West Branch trip. Dan, Darcy and their staff are all top notch. Must play courses!
Great place to stop on the way north. The course is fantastic, and the staff is friendly. I will be back.
Both courses have been taking care of our group of 36-44 guys every year, spring and fall since they opened and have done an unbelievable job. The courses seem to be like a great bottle of wine where they seem to get better and better as time goes on. I’d put these courses against any I’ve played, and that’s a lot of them.
The Dream is one of the best golf courses in Michigan. From the time you drive up the entrance you get that feeling this is going to be a special place. The man behind the counter makes you feel good about the place before you even start. The course has wide fairways and big greens. You get good roll off the tee and the greens hold. The rough is thick but you don’t lose your ball and spend all day looking for it. We all enjoyed a great round of golf. You hardly ever see anyone else on the course when they are playing other holes.
